I can't believe it's been more than a year since I left for England. About this time, I was struggling to finish my first essay that was due on Thanksgiving, and thinking how strange it was that in a month, I'd be on my way home.
This past year has gone by surprisingly quickly, and a lot of things are about to change. I'm 2 weeks and one semester away from graduating, which means I'll be applying to grad schools soon, and applying to vet schools sooner than, if I'm honest with myself, I'm mentally prepared for.
One thing I can't stop thinking about is England. Everything I've learned, felt, dreamed, hoped, wanted, and loved, especially this past year has solidified in my mind that England is the place I belong. I can't explain it any other way.
I'm going back in 39 days (not that I'm counting) for a cheeky visit, and also as a reminder of all the things I have been/will be fighting for.
See you soon, England!
